Welcome to the The Ogre's Mech Depot! This site is dedicated to miniatures for the Classic Battletech game system. I have been painting minis for almost 26 years now, and have recently gotten back into doing minis for Classic Battletech, or CBT. Most of the minis shown here were just ones I wanted to do, but some are commissions from folks I either sold pieces to, or who contacted me about doing specific jobs. In 2007 I became a member of Camospecs online as well, under the artist name "Ogre"...a nickname from my high-school days. The site is also home to the Grimm's Reapers, my own personal mercenary company created lo these many years ago. So look around and enjoy, and feel free to contact me with any questions!

Note: On November 5th, my site was given a new domain name as part of Yahoo's upgraded service. The address is now www.theogresden.net, so if you happen to have a link to here, you'll have to change it. Unsurprisngly, the change has totally messed up all my links. I'm repairing them and doing some upgrades at the same time, so please be patient. Many thanks for visiting!

Clan Ghost Bear Alpha-Galaxy Hydra
Generally, the Word uses an all-white scheme for it's militia units unless camo is appropriate. I got tired of seeing all-white Blakists, and did this in mountain camo, instead...a mix of greys and browns.
Another mod by Mr. Balk, the B variant of the Cauldron-Born uses all energy weapons. Epsilon galaxy uses a teal and black scheme, with silver highlights.
A bash by Zac (AKA "Ava Mango Two) of a mini from Talon Games, the Hydra sports two HAG-30's, a medium pulse laser and an SRM-4. Nice little design, if a bit ammo-dependent.
The Star Guard uses a neat looking star-field camo of blue and black. Little stars represent places the unit has been stationed, while larger stars represent individual kills. This mini was a fan-produced sculpt from Australia.
